Please help me identify music that was popular in December 1941. I'm especially interested to learn what young people were listening to when Pearl Harbor was attacked. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I have found a few resources relating to music of the era. The Florida Folklife from the WPA Collections, 1937-1942 includes different genres of music, and this was just before and during the start of the war:

"Now What a Time": Blues, Gospel, and the Fort Valley Music Festivals, 1938-1943 is also a good resource for music of the time:
