WWII Music

Please help me identify music that was popular in December 1941. I'm especially interested to learn what young people were listening to when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

I have found a few resources relating to music of the era. The Florida Folklife from the WPA Collections, 1937-1942 includes different genres of music, and this was just before and during the start of the war:http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/flwpahtml/flwpahome.html "Now What a Time": Blues, Gospel, and the Fort Valley Music Festivals, 1938-1943 is also a good resource for music of the time: http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/ftvhtml/ftvhome.html These links are all from the online collections of the American Folklife Center: http://www.loc.gov/folklife/onlinecollections.html "The Library of Congress Presents: Music, Theater and Dance" also looks good, but I didn't see any collections just specific to WWII: http://www.loc.gov/rr/perform/ihas/index.html 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
